As a Senior Digital Engineering and BIM Manager, you will be responsible for directing 3D content creation for virtual city, architectural visualization, and extended reality environments. You will manage digital product delivery, XR studio operations, and information review while developing and implementing BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and digital handover strategies. Responsibilities also include defining and managing information requirements (OIR, AIR, PIR, EIR) and Common Data Environment (CDE) processes, ensuring compliance with ISO 19650 standards and security protocols, and overseeing the production, assurance, and checking of information models (pre-RIBA Stage 3).
You will develop BIM standards, object libraries, and shared resources, support construction sequencing and cost planning using BIM data, and evaluate and implement emerging technologies and Autodesk solutions. Additional duties include providing training on BIM tools, COBie, data analysis, and assurance processes, collaborating with clients, Mace project managers, and design teams to ensure procedural compliance, and driving continuous improvement, stakeholder engagement, and net-zero carbon transition. You will also conduct interviews to assess the skills and experience of potential candidates for BIM roles.
Qualifications for this position include a relevant degree qualification, an advanced understanding of ISO 19650, BS1192, Common Data Environment (CDE), IFC, COBie, and classifications. Experience with content management library systems, skills in Autodesk desktop products, and familiarity with validation and verification tools and visualization tools are required.
