Senior Director

About the Role
In this position, you will lead end-to-end site masterplanning for large-scale, multi-venue mega events. Your role will involve transforming the client’s high-level vision into a comprehensive implementation plan for each event cycle, which will encompass venue footprint, infrastructure, resources, and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Head a large multidisciplinary planning team, allocating design, drafting, and F&B planning work.
• Ensure delivery timelines are met while acting as the client’s single point of accountability for performance and output.
• Personally develop masterplans, zoning, dimensioned layouts, and end-to-end visitor journeys, rather than solely overseeing these processes.
• Conduct needs assessments, feasibility and validation studies, and benchmark against comparable global events to determine the best solutions for each site.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client leadership, integrating requirements from marketing, sponsorship, talent, media, and operations into a cohesive site plan.

Requirements

• Senior Director grade with a minimum of 12 years' relevant experience.
• Demonstrated experience with at least two complete delivery cycles of events of comparable scale, particularly mega-events and multi-venue or mega sporting events.
• Capability in personally producing venue master planning, zoning, dimensioned layouts, and end-to-end visitor journeys.
• Proven track record of stakeholder integration across marketing, sponsorships, influencers, and players.

Contract and Benefits

• This is a long-term contract lasting 14 - 17 months.
• Flight and accommodation will be provided.
