What You'll Do:
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- AI Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive AI strategy that aligns with our company's mission and objectives.
- Technical Vision: Provide technical leadership and guide the team in implementing AI technologies to drive venture success.
- Product Development: Oversee the end-to-end development of AI-driven products and services, ensuring quality, scalability, and alignment with venture goals.
- AI Research Collaboration: Forge collaborations with cutting-edge research labs and experts to leverage the latest advancements in AI.
- Innovation: Champion a culture of innovation, encouraging the team to explore novel AI approaches and technologies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product management, design, and business development teams to bring AI-driven ventures to life.
- Technical Excellence: Ensure best practices in software engineering, including architecture, coding standards, testing, and documentation.
- Talent Development: Recruit and develop top talent, fostering continuous learning and growth within the engineering team.
What You'll Bring:
- Ph.D. in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or a related field (non-negotiable).
- A publication record in related modeling paradigms (e.g., LLMs, probabilistic graphical models, deep learning, etc.) (non-negotiable).
- Experience with deep learning frameworks (non-negotiable).
- Strong expertise in AI technologies including machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, and computer vision (non-negotiable).
- Proven experience leading and managing software engineering teams with successful product development outcomes.
- Deep technical knowledge and the ability to guide the team in implementing AI solutions.
- A passion for exploring new AI approaches and technologies to drive venture success.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
