The position is responsible for providing expertise in designing and maintaining solution architecture to enhance the organization's Enterprise Architecture in alignment with business requirements. The key focus is to develop and maintain relevant artifacts while ensuring compliance with organization standards in all new implementations. The role involves collaboration with IT Leadership to deliver an ICT Solution strategy and roadmap, assess existing ICT solutions, and introduce new systems or technologies based on proper requirements assessment. Further responsibilities include developing technical specifications for vendor engagement, participating in project-related activities, and ensuring the implementation of solutions according to agreed design. Additionally, the architect will share expertise with the team during critical incidents and contribute to performance and capacity improvements.

Key Activities, Responsibilities, & Accountability
- Utilize appropriate tools to contribute to the development of solution architectures in specific business or functional areas, being familiar with TOGAF standards and ArchiMate stencils for preparing models and diagrams.
- Produce detailed component specifications, design diagrams, and translate these into detailed design documents for implementation, including standard technical diagrams such as Solution Diagrams, Data Dissemination Diagrams, and Deployment Diagrams.
- Architect and oversee the integration of cloud-native, API-first, and event-driven systems to ensure interoperability across business domains; possess in-depth understanding of various cloud deployment models (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS) and their impacts on the existing landscape.
- Stay well-versed with recent developments in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the interrelation of different technical components for solution design.
- Advise on technical aspects of system development and integration, ensuring adherence to relevant technical strategies, policies, standards, and practices across architecture layers including Business, Data, Application, Integration, Infrastructure (including Network), and Security.
- Support business applications with a broad range of standard technologies such as J2EE, .NET, UNIX, SQL, Workflow, Mobility, Cloud, and Web Services.
- Maintain awareness of open-source products and frameworks; possess in-depth knowledge of design patterns, architecture patterns, and strong object-oriented programming concepts. Knowledge of the SAP platform is considered a plus.
- Assist in capturing, prioritizing, and analyzing market and environmental trends, business strategies, and objectives while identifying the business benefits of alternative strategies.
- Conduct feasibility studies, produce high-level business models, and prepare business cases as needed.
