Position

As a Senior Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant at the company, you will lead the design, configuration, and implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance modules, which include General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets, Tax, Intercompany, and Consolidations. Your role will involve conducting end-to-end functional analysis, performing fit-gap assessments, gathering requirements, mapping processes, and creating Functional Design Documents (FDDs). You will be responsible for translating complex business requirements into scalable, high-quality Dynamics 365 Finance solutions.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams is crucial as you work to deliver Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) that provide quick business value. You will oversee system testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), training, and provide go-live and post-go-live support for Dynamics 365 Finance implementations while ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and software development methodologies to maintain high-quality solution delivery.

Support integration efforts between D365 and other enterprise systems using tools such as AIF, custom services, or external APIs will also fall under your responsibilities. Additionally, you will mentor and guide junior consultants, maintain comprehensive documentation, and foster strong client relationships through effective communication and problem-solving.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX (2012 or earlier) and D365 Finance implementations.
  • Strong knowledge of financial modules: GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets, Taxation, Intercompany, Consolidations, Management Reporter, and Banking.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading full life-cycle implementations, including data migration and third-party integrations.
  • Solid understanding of GAAP, global taxation rules, and multi-company financial consolidation practices.
  • Proficiency in creating and interpreting functional documentation such as FDDs and business process flows.
  • Proven ability to articulate solutions to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working with international clients (MEA) preferred.

Nice To Have Skills:

  • Familiarity with other ERP Finance modules (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Exposure to Power Platform, Azure, or Microsoft Dataverse is a plus.
