About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain embedded software for avionics, flight control, and aerospace systems. You will collaborate with system engineers to translate control algorithms and requirements into embedded code, integrating software with hardware systems and conducting testing to ensure functionality, performance, and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for avionics and aerospace systems.
  • Implement software for real-time systems with a focus on low latency and high reliability.
  • Collaborate with system engineers to translate control algorithms and requirements into embedded code.
  • Integrate software with hardware systems and conduct thorough testing to ensure compliance.
  • Develop software aligned with industry standards such as DO-178C and DO-254.
  • Optimize code for memory, power efficiency, and overall performance while adhering to best practices.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation including software design, code, and test results.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including hardware, systems, and QA for effective integration.
  • Identify and resolve defects, anomalies, and performance issues through debugging and analysis.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry practices.

Education and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in embedded software development, preferably in aerospace or safety-critical domains.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in C and C++ for embedded systems.
  • Experience with microcontroller architectures such as ARM or STM32 and low-level hardware interfacing.

Technical Competencies

  • Strong expertise in C/C++ programming and embedded systems development.
  • In-depth knowledge of microcontrollers and hardware interfacing.
  • Solid understanding of real-time operating systems and real-time design principles.
  • Experience with communication protocols including UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, and Ethernet.
