Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain embedded software applications using C/C++ in real-time embedded environments.
- Develop software for advanced navigation systems, including GPS, INS, and multi-sensor fusion technologies.
- Integrate navigation algorithms with hardware platforms and sensor interfaces.
- Deliver high-quality, compliant software that meets technical requirements, coding standards, and configuration management practices.
- Develop, manage, and maintain software documentation, including requirements, architecture, design specifications, source code, and test cases.
- Participate in technical design reviews and contribute to software architecture, evaluation methodologies, and testing strategies.
- Support software verification, validation, and certification activities, including compliance with industry standards such as DO-178C or equivalent.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, supporting skills development and project delivery.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure successful delivery of complex defence programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Formal training and demonstrated proficiency in C/C++ development.
- Minimum 10 years of embedded software development experience using C/C++.
- Strong experience developing software in real-time operating system (RTOS) environments.
- Proven expertise across the full software development lifecycle, including requirements management, software architecture and design, implementation and coding, integration and testing, and verification and validation.
- Demonstrated experience leading or contributing to complex software development projects within defence, aerospace, or other safety-critical industries.

- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to software quality.
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, highly regulated engineering environment.
