You will be responsible for performing design reviews, implementation assessments, and developing mitigation strategies, along with capturing defects in a highly agile and adaptive service delivery model. Your key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing product security designs and documenting security control deficiencies.
- Executing threat modeling, attack surface enumeration, and creating attack trees for embedded system products.
- Researching and proposing appropriate technologies to meet client requirements.
- Conducting end-to-end security posture assessments through various methodologies, including source code audits and functional testing.
- Ensuring that output implementations align with security architecture and threat models.
- Documenting and communicating product security risks effectively to both technical and business stakeholders.
- Mentoring a small team of security engineers and consultants.
Minimum Qualifications:
- MSc or BSc in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4+ years of experience in embedded, general, or special-purpose computer system-level software security.
- Proven experience in developing, auditing, or testing security solutions for embedded, IoT, or mobile systems.
Key Skills:
- Proficiency in Embedded Systems, Linux, or Real-Time Operating systems security concepts.
- Experience in reviewing system security architecture, ARM architecture, and debugging software.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Rust, or Assembly (ARM) applicable to system software.
- Strong knowledge of secure boot, firmware integrity, software updates, and hardware-backed device attestation.
- Familiarity with cryptographic practices and security vulnerabilities related to system software.
- Experience with HW-backed security features for system hardening and isolation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and a willingness to learn and grow.
- Proficient in English with excellent communication skills.
