ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer - Antenna and Communications for the company to lead the design, development, simulation, testing, and validation of advanced antenna and communication systems for missile and defence applications. The role involves RF system engineering, electromagnetic analysis, communication link evaluation, software-defined radio development, and antenna performance optimization. The successful candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, provide technical leadership, and support the integration of communication subsystems into larger defence platforms. This position requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to work independently while mentoring junior engineers.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, simulate, test, and optimize advanced antenna systems and RF communication subsystems for defence and missile applications.
- Perform electromagnetic modelling, RF propagation analysis, link budget calculations, channel characterization, and interference assessments.
- Develop and validate Software Defined Radio (SDR) solutions, including signal processing, modulation, coding techniques, and performance analysis.
- Lead technical reviews, qualification testing, and cross-functional integration activities while mentoring junior engineers.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 6-8 years of experience in RF engineering, antenna design, and wireless communication systems.
- Strong expertise in antenna theory, electromagnetics, RF propagation, interference analysis, and communication system design.
- Proficiency with engineering tools such as CST, HFSS, Simulink, Microwave Office, MATLAB, and C/C++.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience within the defence, aerospace, missile, radar, or military communications industry.
- Prior technical leadership experience, including leading engineering teams, design reviews, and qualification activities.
