We are seeking skilled Backend Engineers who will play a pivotal role in developing cutting-edge platforms that facilitate seamless and scalable transactions. Utilizing your expertise in payment, shopping, and banking systems, you will design, develop, and optimize secure software infrastructures to deliver unique user experiences. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams—including engineers, designers, analysts, and product experts—to address complex challenges, enhance system design, and create innovative technical solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain APIs, services, and systems across Tamara’s engineering teams.
- Debug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack.
- Collaborate with business, product, and operations teams to address and resolve user pain points.
Your Expertise:
- 6+ years of software development experience.
- Strong background in building scalable products and services.
- Good understanding of SOLID principles and Design Patterns.
- Experience with AWS, OCI, Kubernetes/Docker.
- Familiarity with distributed systems and messaging tools like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Proficient in JavaScript, Vue.js, HTML, and CSS (a plus).
- Proactive, goal-oriented, and self-structured in problem-solving.
- Experience in a startup environment (a plus).
- Strong written and spoken communication skills in English.
