Your Role:
We are seeking Backend Engineers to join our team. As a Backend Engineer, you will play a crucial role in building cutting-edge platforms that facilitate seamless and scalable transactions. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and optimizing our secure software infrastructure to provide unique user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain APIs, services, and systems across Tamara’s engineering teams.
- Debug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack.
- Collaborate with engineers to create delightful features that span various system components.
- Work closely with business, product, and operations teams to identify and resolve user pain points.
Your Expertise:
- 6+ years of software development experience.
- Strong background in building scalable products and services.
- Good understanding of SOLID principles and design patterns.
- Familiarity with AWS, OCI, and Kubernetes/Docker.
- Experience with distributed systems using messaging tools like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with JavaScript, Vue.js, HTML, and CSS is a plus.
- Proactive, goal-oriented, and self-structured work approach.
- Experience in a startup environment is a plus.
- Good written and spoken communication skills in English.
