The Senior Engineer BENE ORT will support and execute operation readiness, commissioning, and startup activities for the Beneficiation (BENE) plant, ensuring systems are tested, stable, and ready for full production. This role is highly hands-on, focusing on process performance, troubleshooting, and smooth plant ramp-up.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and operating procedures, as well as startup and shutdown procedures.
- Support mechanical completion verification, punch list clearance, and execute flushing and cleaning of equipment checks and test runs.
- Participate in dry and wet commissioning and initial ore feed introduction, monitoring equipment performance and process stability.
- Track key parameters such as throughput (TPH), slurry density, and recovery (%), and support the optimization of flotation efficiency and grinding performance.
- Identify and resolve flotation issues, circuit imbalances, and equipment performance issues while working with process and maintenance teams.
- Support RFSU certification and ensure systems are tested and documented, assisting operators during startup and stabilization.
- Follow Permit to Work (PTW) and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and participate in toolbox talks and risk assessments to ensure safe handling of reagents and slurry systems.
- Maintain commissioning logs and test records, reporting daily progress on issues and actions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or Metallurgical/Mineral Processing Engineering.
- 6–10+ years of experience in beneficiation/mineral processing plants, with experience in flotation circuits and commissioning/startup preferred.
Skills Competencies
- Technical skills in grinding and flotation processes, process monitoring and control, and P&ID interpretation.
- Strong troubleshooting ability, team coordination, and attention to detail.
Work Environment
- Site-based in Turaif Industrial City, with a field-intensive role that may require shift work during startup.
