Additional duties include ensuring well-defined project requirements and deliverables comply with the company's standards and specifications, monitoring and controlling the Maintenance Management system related to civil maintenance support services, and initiating, planning, determining, documenting, and finalizing contracts to support the Maintenance Manager according to the acquisition plan needed for civil maintenance services. Furthermore, the role requires performing analyses based on technical competency, experience, and HSE performance to select potential bidders and material vendors and to obtain necessary site management approvals.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and develop civil scope of work for tender packages and implement economical solutions as per business process and policy requirements.
- Lead the implementation of the company's standards and policies related to civil maintenance.
- Mentor and develop UAE Nationals in Civil Engineering, aiding in achieving Emiratization targets.
- Initiate, plan, and supervise cross-functional teams and contractors to implement all aspects of civil maintenance projects within schedule, scope, and budget constraints.
- Ensure identification of well-defined project requirements and deliverables in compliance with the company's standards and specifications.
- Plan, initiate, monitor, and control the maintenance management system related to civil maintenance support services.
- Initiate, plan, and finalize contracts to support the Maintenance Manager as per acquisition plans for civil maintenance services.
- Analyze various factors to select potential bidders/material vendors and obtain necessary site management approvals.
Qualification and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- 8 years of experience in civil maintenance concrete rehabilitation, roads, infrastructure, fireproofing, and non-metallic utility piping repair works within a large industrial organization, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
