Senior Engineer - Computer Vision (Analytics)

EDGE Group PJSC is seeking a Senior Engineer in Computer Vision to join our Advanced Concepts initiative. This role involves designing and developing cutting-edge visual object tracking and image processing algorithms specifically for unmanned systems and embedded hardware. Responsibilities include:

• Implementing and optimizing tracking techniques such as correlation filters and deep learning-based trackers.
• Integrating visual tracking algorithms into real-time systems, focusing on low-latency, high-performance capabilities.
• Collaborating with hardware and software teams to enhance integration with onboard processing units.
• Developing sensor fusion strategies to improve tracking accuracy using various sensors (e.g., cameras, lidar).
• Enhancing visual trackers to adapt to changes in dynamic environmental conditions.
• Conducting extensive benchmarking and performance assessment of visual tracking algorithms.
• Documenting algorithms and integration processes, as well as contributing to technical reports.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in computer vision and image processing.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
• Proficient in C/C++ and Python programming languages.
• Familiarity with CUDA programming and NVIDIA platforms.
• Strong understanding of machine learning applications and recent research updates in the field.
• Analytical problem-solving skills.
