Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive contracting activities plan for each tender based on company needs.
  • Review strategies for contracting, tendering procedures, and methods of reimbursement, and create initial shortlists of bidders.
  • Compile accurate tender documents addressing technical, commercial, and legal aspects, obtaining necessary approvals.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Legal teams for standard contracts and any required deviations for tenders.
  • Prepare all necessary documentation for bid openings and participate while ensuring fairness and confidentiality.
  • Facilitate the accurate and timely preparation of negotiation paperwork and participate in meetings as needed.
  • Conduct techno-commercial evaluations of bids and create justified shortlists for management approval.
  • Draft Letters of Award (LOA) and register contracts in SAP for contract number allocation.
  • Assess claims based on contractual terms and provide recommendations for resolution.

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in any Engineering Discipline.

Experience and Skills:

  • A minimum of 8 years in contracts development and administration within the oil and gas sector.
  • Technical expertise in contract construction, review, and the tendering process.
  • Strong understanding of relevant legal guidelines and regulations.
  • Proficient in conflict avoidance and resolution related to contracts.

Certifications:

  • FRICS certification (Full Membership of Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors) is preferred.

Work Conditions:

  • Minimal physical effort required.
  • Work is primarily in a climate-controlled environment, with occasional exposure to outdoor conditions during site visits.
