The Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for the management and maintenance of network devices to ensure high availability of network operations, integrity of configuration baselines, and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
Responsibilities:
- Derive configurations from low-high level designs and change requests.
- Oversee project operational requirements and engage with Project Management Office and external vendors to ensure timely project delivery.
- Conduct Acceptance Testing post-implementation.
- Maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure, telephony infrastructure/devices, and virtual private networks while ensuring security.
- Supervise installation of new hardware and implement changes as required.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of infrastructure design, assets, and topology.
- Handle capacity-sizing changes and notify vendors and IT management accordingly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in Computer/IT Network Engineering or Computer Science.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in network engineering.
- Experience with technologies: Routing and Switching (Cisco, Juniper, HP), Network Security (L2/L3), Firewalls & IPS/IDS (Palo Alto, Fortinet), and Cloud networking technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Additional Requirements:
- Networking certification (CCIE, CCNP, CCNA) and IT Operations Management (ITIL Foundation) are preferred.
- Strong problem diagnosis and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
- Willingness to work out of hours as necessary.
