Location: Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates
Work Conditions: On-site, Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage security controls and systems.
  • Conduct security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability scans.
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents.
  • Collaborate with international teams to ensure security measures are in place.
  • Securely configure and monitor network infrastructure.
  • Implement intrusion detection and prevention systems.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and penetration tests to validate system resilience.
  • Ensure secure data transfer and storage.
  • Provide training and support to offshore teams on security protocols.
  • Monitor and address region-specific security threats.
  • Comply with policies related to Quality Health Safety and Environment (QHSE), Business Continuity, Information Security, Privacy, Risk, and Governance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Relevant certifications such as OSCP, CEH, GPEN, or equivalent penetration testing credentials are highly desirable.
  • 5+ years in security engineering, including 2+ years in security assessments and penetration testing.
  • Hands-on experience with penetration testing of networks, applications, and systems, utilizing both manual and automated techniques.

Skills:

  • Expertise in network security, platform security, application security, and security frameworks.
  • Experience with security operations systems like IDS, SIEM, and anti-virus log collection.
  • Knowledge of secure software development practices and vulnerability management.
  • Proficiency in penetration testing methodologies (e.g., OWASP, OSSTMM, PTES) and exploit development.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret results and communicate strategies to both technical and non-technical audiences.
