Position

In this role, the Senior Engineer – Fleet Management at the company will work closely with regional LEAP-1A/1B Customer Teams and airline operators to enhance predictive maintenance solutions. The focus will be on efficiently addressing technical and program issues while maintaining in-depth knowledge of the fleet. This position involves cross-functional collaboration to advance analytical strategies and to lead the development and execution of sophisticated physics-based analytical models and methods.

Location: Dubai

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, propose, and implement predictive maintenance solutions that significantly affect customers and the services business, ensuring alignment with the Services Technology strategy.
  • Utilize advanced artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques to produce innovative solutions that improve predictive maintenance capabilities and operational efficiency.
  • Interact with customers to gain insights into their needs and challenges, facilitating collaboration for co-created solutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Computer Science from an accredited university.
  • Over 10 years of relevant experience in fleet management and reliability for commercial engines or in applied data science and machine learning.
  • Proven experience in data analysis, including exploratory data analysis and model validation.
  • Strong project leadership skills and the ability to influence across various functions.
  • Customer-focused mindset combined with strong business acumen and cultural sensitivity.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in airline maintenance or field service engineering with LEAP or other CFM/GE Aerospace engine product lines.
  • Design experience and knowledge of engine field behavior and degradation mechanisms.
  • Proficiency in Python and/or R, along with familiarity with data management and visualization tools.
  • Demonstrated project management skills with track records of on-time delivery and high-quality outcomes.
