About the Role
We are seeking an Engineer with a focus on Frontend technologies and Solace skillset to build, administer, and support event-driven messaging capabilities across integrated platforms. This role will emphasize Solace configuration, queue/topic design, message delivery reliability, and production support within a Kubernetes / OKE-aware environment. The individual will also serve as the Domain Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Solace messaging layer, responsible for both platform administration ownership and contributions to messaging design, best practices, and reusable patterns across the platform.

Responsibilities
- Frontend application knowledge with Solace Development, Integration, and support.
- Build and support event-driven messaging services using Solace across integrated platforms.
- Perform Solace administration including configuration, maintenance, patching, upgrades, and queue/topic design.
- Troubleshoot message delivery failures, integration issues, and messaging bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with application teams to define messaging SLAs for critical payment and entity-onboarding flows.
- Support messaging design reviews, operational readiness, deployment validation, and production support activities.
- Maintain clear documentation for queue/topic configuration, support procedures, known issues, and operational handover.
- Have exposure to enterprise messaging / event-architecture best-practice frameworks.
- Act as Domain SME for the Solace messaging layer, contributing to messaging design standards, reusable queue/topic and event-flow patterns, and best practices across integrations.
- Provide design inputs and participate in design review sessions for new messaging and event-integration requirements.
- Own platform administration standards; maintain runbooks, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and validate backup/disaster-recovery readiness for the Solace environment.
Qualifications
Required Skills
- Solace Administration: Configuration, maintenance, patching, upgrades, queue/topic design.
- Frontend Technologies: NextJs, NestJs, Angular, React.
- Messaging Support: Troubleshooting message delivery failures, integration issues, and messaging bottlenecks.
- Platform Operations: Kubernetes / OKE operational awareness for integration services, where applicable.
- Collaboration and SLA Definition: Ability to work with application teams to define messaging SLAs for payment and entity-onboarding flows.
- Tools and Documentation: Operational documentation, troubleshooting notes, and support handover practices.
- Design & Best Practices: Messaging design standards, reusable queue/topic and event-flow pattern definition, design/architecture review contribution, and platform administration governance (runbooks, SOPs, backup/DR).
Good to Have
- Experience in payment/transaction processing systems.
- Exposure to Mulesoft ESB and Anypoint Platform.
- Exposure to Camunda BPM.
- Experience supporting integration services in Kubernetes / OKE environments.
Education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
