Key Job Responsibilities:
As a Senior Engineer – Highways, you will:
- Develop highway engineering designs and technical deliverables for rail and transportation infrastructure projects.
- Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, specifications, drawings, and design documentation.
- Support project delivery from concept development through detailed design stages.
- Coordinate design activities with multidisciplinary teams, including rail, civil, structures, geotechnical, drainage, utilities, environmental, and project management disciplines.
- Ensure designs comply with project requirements, client specifications, and applicable international and local standards.
- Participate in design reviews, technical workshops, and value engineering initiatives.
- Identify technical risks and challenges while developing practical, innovative, and cost-effective solutions.
- Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and design partners throughout project execution.
- Support quality assurance and quality control processes across all project phases.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives and engineering best practices.
Job Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Highway Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field is an advantage.
- Professional Engineering registration or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in Highway Engineering Design.
- Minimum 5 years of experience working on Rail Infrastructure Projects.
- Proven experience delivering major transportation and infrastructure projects.
- Experience within international engineering consultancy environments is highly desirable.
Have proven experience in the design of:
- Highways and Roads
- Rail Access Roads
- Transportation Corridors
- Interchanges and Junctions
- At-Grade and Grade-Separated Crossings
- Rail-Related Transportation Infrastructure
