Senior Engineer - OT Cybersecurity

This Senior Engineer – OT Cybersecurity role focuses on implementing and integrating cybersecurity solutions across utility and master control centre environments. Candidates must have a strong background in operational technology (OT), instrumentation, and experience working in high and low voltage substations. The position requires hands-on deployment, configuration, and documentation of OT cybersecurity technologies, including infrastructure design and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Supervise panel/cabinet build and prepare engineering documentation.
• Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) activities.
• Ensure compliance with UAE utility Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards.

Requirements

• 7–12 years of experience in cyber infrastructure, OT infrastructure, or electrical-telecom execution in utilities, substations, rail, or industrial environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, electronics, instrumentation, telecom, computer engineering, or a relevant discipline.
• At least one OT cybersecurity certification (ISA 62443, GICSP, or CISSP).
• Experience with data center infrastructure and supporting cyber platforms is a strong advantage.

Skills/Certifications

• Strong capability in panel/cabinet build supervision and related practices.
• Proven ability to prepare HLD/LLD and implementable drawings.
• Understanding of OT network architecture principles and compliance requirements.
• Strong communication and coordination skills with multiple stakeholders.
• High attention to detail in documentation and evidence packs.
