Responsibilities
- Prepare progress and performance analysis reports, highlight problematic areas, and recommend appropriate actions.
- Ensure that work is carried out in accordance with set policies and procedures, meeting regulatory standards.
- Achieve and maintain ISO certification for the Process section.
- Review all engineering deliverables prepared by the EPC contractor regarding processes and controls.
- Review all systems and equipment designs to ensure easy and safe operations.
- Provide on-site process engineering consultation during the construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning stages of projects.
- Act as Technical Authority for process discipline engineering within the company and mediate in the event of technical disputes between conflicting parties.
- Provide Process Engineering expertise for the development and authorization of Key Documents (Philosophies, Policies, Design Basis) for all project works, including assets, major projects, brownfield projects, and new field projects, ensuring consistency and efficacy.
- Support, develop, and review Process Engineering standards, codes of practice, and technical specifications to ensure alignment with prevailing legislation, current best practice, and lessons learned from past activities.
- Identify, investigate, and recommend new technical innovations, developments, and enhancements to improve the delivery of business goals.
- Ensure Process Engineering representation and expertise are available for necessary support of HSE-driven studies and workshops.
Minimum Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or an equivalent engineering discipline.
Minimum Experience, Knowledge & Skills
- A minimum of 8 years of similar experience within the oil and gas industry.
- Experience with revenues/budget aligned with the approved financial budget.
- Familiarity with organizational reporting structures for direct and indirect reports.
