We are seeking a passionate Senior QA Engineer who excels in manual testing and quality assurance. In this role, you will be part of a cross-functional team, owning the design of test scenarios, executing comprehensive manual test cases, and ensuring the highest quality standards are met for our high-scale data and analytics platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess application potential by testing new software for compatibility with existing systems and adherence to objectives and QA standards.
- Develop application test plans and test cases based on software requirements and technical specifications from Product/Solution/Technology teams.
- Conduct quality assurance tests for new and existing applications, including system stress, performance, functional, and scalability testing.
- Assess application security controls and ensure data integrity standards are met.
- Improve application performance through objective reviews, testing changes, and proposing necessary modifications.
- Maintain a record of application changes and modifications; develop bug reports for end-users and support teams.
- Prepare reference documents for users outlining operating instructions and procedures.
- Comply with quality, health, safety, and environmental policies, alongside risk assessments related to governance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in planning, designing, and managing software quality assurance and testing.
- Background in a product development organization or analytics industry; familiarity with test management tools (JIRA, Confluence, TestRail, QC).
- Experience with API testing tools (Swagger, Postman) and databases (SQL, NoSQL).
- Strong understanding of web technologies (JS, HTML, CSS).
- Programming skills are a plus (Java, Python, JavaScript/Typescript).
- Experience with big data and AI products is advantageous (data quality, mapping, cleaning).
- Tech-ops knowledge (Kubernetes, Docker, Shell, Cloud services) is preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in Agile development methodologies within an AI service organization or analytics industry.
