Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, execute, and maintain test documentation.
- Conduct functional and non-functional testing.
- Identify, document, and track bugs using a defect-tracking system (e.g., Jira).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and plan test activities.
- Participate in release validation to ensure product quality through development stages.
- Build and enhance QA processes and workflows.
- Create and maintain automated tests for UI, API, or backend systems.
Requirements:
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test design techniques, and SDLC/STLC.
- Experience in testing web applications.
- In-depth knowledge of test documentation and experience creating detailed test plans, test suites, and reports.
- Proficiency with bug-tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
- Strong experience in API testing using tools such as Postman and Swagger; ability to design and automate API test coverage.
- Advanced SQL skills for data validation and backend testing.
Automation Skills:
- Experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium or Cypress.
- Proficient in programming languages like JavaScript, Python, or TypeScript.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
- Proven ability to design and build automation frameworks from scratch.
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication skills with the capability to work collaboratively in a team or independently.
