ABOUT THE ROLE
Join a cutting-edge engineering team developing advanced Electro-Optical (EO) Seeker Systems for next-generation precision-guided technologies. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Testing & Qualification Engineer to lead the planning, execution, verification, and qualification of EO seeker systems throughout the product development lifecycle.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing test methodologies, executing laboratory and field testing activities, analysing system performance, and ensuring compliance with technical, environmental, and qualification requirements. You will work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to support system development, validation, production readiness, and continuous improvement initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan and execute component, subsystem, and full seeker-level test activities.
- Develop test procedures, acceptance criteria, qualification plans, and verification matrices.
- Conduct EO seeker functional, performance, environmental, and qualification testing.
- Analyse test results, identify failures and performance gaps, and support root-cause investigations.
- Perform regression testing following hardware, software, firmware, or design modifications.
- Develop and maintain EO laboratory test setups, calibration methods, and automated testing solutions.
- Correlate laboratory, field, ground, and flight-test data using engineering and statistical analysis techniques.
- Produce high-quality technical reports, qualification evidence, and test documentation.
- Support design reviews, test readiness reviews, and qualification reviews.
- Coordinate with engineering, production, integration teams, suppliers, and external test facilities.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to process and capability improvements.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Electro-Optical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Physics, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in testing, verification, qualification, system integration, or product development.
- Experience within defence, aerospace, electro-optics, or other high-technology industries.
- Strong understanding of verification, validation, and qualification methodologies.
- Experience with laboratory testing, performance characterization, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
- Strong technical reporting and documentation skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Experience with EO systems, optical sensors, imaging systems, laser-based systems, or seeker technologies.
- Knowledge of SAL, IR/IIR seeker systems and environmental qualification standards.
- Experience using MATLAB, Python, LabVIEW, or similar engineering analysis and test automation tools.
- Exposure to field testing and flight-testing activities.
