Key Responsibilities:
- Drive scope definition, specification, and architecture for services in the CI/CD pipeline.
- Foster a positive SRE culture that promotes frequent releases, high automation, and software reliability.
- Lead and troubleshoot high-priority incidents affecting the organization, providing timely support for Linux-based systems.
- Identify application patterns to enhance service level objectives while integrating self-service and resiliency patterns.
- Collaborate with teams to propose and implement innovative solutions.
- Champion SRE approaches to predict and prevent disruptive events, improving solution availability.
- Design and enable automated change, release, and upgrade management practices.
- Ensure compliance with IT governance controls, standards, and practices.
- Analyze service performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvement plans.
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with customers by understanding their business needs and technical challenges.
- Comply with Quality, Health, Safety and Environment, Business Continuity, Information Security, Privacy, Risk, Compliance Management, and Governance policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in DevOps Operations and deployment.
- Hands-on experience with Public Cloud (Azure required), Linux, Kubernetes, Docker, and Python.
- Knowledge of Private Cloud OpenStack, OpenShift, automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, Helm), CI/CD tools (GitLab, Jenkins, ArgoCD), and DevOps processes.
- Experience with big data technologies (i.e., Elasticsearch, Opensearch, Hadoop Cluster deployment).
- At least 3 years of architectural knowledge of distributed systems and cloud infrastructure.
- Shell and Python scripting skills.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix.
- Experience managing bare metal or virtualized environments.
- Knowledge of cloud networking and security, as well as databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MSSQL).
- Experience with secrets management tools (e.g., HashiCorp Vault) and migration of DevOps tools/applications/databases.
