Position

The company is seeking a meticulous and expert Senior Engineer - Site Reliability for a 12-month contract, aimed at building and supporting the company delivery model. This model empowers product and technology teams to develop and deliver high-quality products, improve platform infrastructure, and strengthen the reliability of products and solutions. Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive scope definition, specification, and architecture for services in the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Foster a positive SRE culture that promotes frequent releases, high automation, and software reliability.
  • Lead and troubleshoot high-priority incidents affecting the organization, providing timely support for Linux-based systems.
  • Identify application patterns to enhance service level objectives while integrating self-service and resiliency patterns.
  • Collaborate with teams to propose and implement innovative solutions.
  • Champion SRE approaches to predict and prevent disruptive events, improving solution availability.
  • Design and enable automated change, release, and upgrade management practices.
  • Ensure compliance with IT governance controls, standards, and practices.
  • Analyze service performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvement plans.
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with customers by understanding their business needs and technical challenges.
  • Comply with Quality, Health, Safety and Environment, Business Continuity, Information Security, Privacy, Risk, Compliance Management, and Governance policies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in DevOps Operations and deployment.
  • Hands-on experience with Public Cloud (Azure required), Linux, Kubernetes, Docker, and Python.
  • Knowledge of Private Cloud OpenStack, OpenShift, automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, Helm), CI/CD tools (GitLab, Jenkins, ArgoCD), and DevOps processes.
  • Experience with big data technologies (i.e., Elasticsearch, Opensearch, Hadoop Cluster deployment).
  • At least 3 years of architectural knowledge of distributed systems and cloud infrastructure.
  • Shell and Python scripting skills.
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix.
  • Experience managing bare metal or virtualized environments.
  • Knowledge of cloud networking and security, as well as databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MSSQL).
  • Experience with secrets management tools (e.g., HashiCorp Vault) and migration of DevOps tools/applications/databases.
