Work Conditions: On-site, Full-time (12 months Contract)
Location: Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to drive scope definition, specification, and architecture for all services in the CI/CD pipeline.
- Foster a positive Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) culture promoting frequent releases and high levels of automation.
- Lead and troubleshoot high-priority incidents impacting the organization for Linux-based systems.
- Identify application patterns and analytics to support better service level objectives.
- Review and modify CI/CD principles and service maturity for continuous improvement.
- Propose, architect, and implement innovative solutions for the organization.
- Ensure compliance with IT governance controls and standards.
- Improve service availability and scalability through tuning, automation, tools, and processes.
- Analyze service performance and develop measurable improvement plans.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the organization and customers, developing trusted advisor relationships.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in DevOps Operations and deployment.
- Proficiency in Public Cloud (Azure), Linux, Kubernetes, Docker, and Python.
- Hands-on experience with Private Cloud (OpenStack, OpenShift) and automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, Helm).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitLab, Jenkins, ArgoCD) and DevOps processes.
- Experience with big data technologies such as Elasticsearch, Opensearch, and Hadoop Cluster deployment.
- At least 3 years of architectural knowledge and understanding of distributed systems and cloud infrastructure.
- Strong scripting skills (Shell & Python) and expertise with monitoring tools (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix).
- Knowledge of cloud networking and security.
- Strong experience with databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and MSSQL.
- Familiarity with secrets management tools like HashiCorp Vault.
- Experience in the migration of DevOps Tools/Applications/Databases.
Language Requirements: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
