Responsibilities

  • Foster a positive SRE culture that promotes frequent releases, high levels of automation (Ansible, Terraform, Helm), and software reliability (Monitoring Tools).
  • Lead and troubleshoot high priority incidents impacting the organization, providing timely support to quickly resolve critical incidents for Linux based systems.
  • Identify application patterns & analytics in support of better service level objectives while integrating self-service & resiliency patterns.
  • Review and modify CI/CD principles and service maturity iteratively, striving for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to propose, architect and implement innovative & transformational solutions for the company.
  • Champion SRE approaches across strategic systems to predict & prevent disruptive events and improve the availability of solutions.
  • Design & enable automated change, release and upgrade management practices across existing products & solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with defined IT governance controls, standards, and practices.
  • Improve service availability and scalability through tuning, automation, tools, and processes.
  • Analyze service performance, identify bottlenecks, and provide measurable improvement plans.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for all matters concerning the customer and develop a trusted advisor relationship with executive sponsors by understanding their business needs and technical challenges.
  • Comply with QHSE (Quality Health Safety and Environment), Business Continuity, Information Security, Privacy, Risk, Compliance Management and Governance of Organizations policies, procedures, plans and related risk assessments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in DevOps Operations and deployment.
  • Public Cloud (Azure must), Linux, Kubernetes, Docker, and Python hands-on experience is a must.
  • Hands-on experience with Private Cloud Openstack, OpenShift.
  • Proficiency in automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, Helm).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitLab, Jenkins, and ArgoCD) and DevOps processes is required.
  • Knowledge of big data technologies such as Elasticsearch, Opensearch, Hadoop Cluster deployment.
  • At least 3 years of experience in architectural knowledge and understanding of distributed systems and cloud infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in Shell & Python scripting.
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring tools like ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, and Zabbix.
  • Hands-on experience managing bare metal or virtualized environments.
  • Solid understanding of cloud networking and security.
  • Strong experience with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MSSQL.
  • Experience with HashiCorp Vault or similar secrets management tools.
  • Experience with Migration of DevOps Tools / Applications / Databases.
