We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Software Development Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional who is passionate about technology and innovation. This position requires a senior level engineering professional with strong technical knowledge of cryptography, software development, and internet protocols, along with technical leadership skills and the ability to drive innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, design, quality assurance, and operations to define project requirements, scope, and priorities.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to inform decision-making and drive innovation within the team.
- Act as a technical advisor, providing insights on software architecture, design patterns, and implementation approaches.
- Translate strategic requirements into world-class software design.
- Develop mobile communication solutions with a focus on platform-level and device management.
- Drive the development and execution of software projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Implement software development processes and best practices to improve efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
- Act as an agile ambassador in a cross-functional team, providing mentorship and support to foster a collaborative work environment.
Education and Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of overall experience in software development.
- Strong technical background in software engineering principles.
- Proven experience in software development in embedded Linux and mobile platforms.
- Knowledge of symmetric and asymmetric cryptography, OSI layers, and protocols.
