Key Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end testing of customer network deployments, including design, development, implementation, and reporting.
- Understand software features and develop comprehensive test strategies.
- Design, develop, and deliver automated test scripts using agile methodologies.
- Utilize AI tools and intelligent agents to enhance testing efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for test scenario execution.
- Partner with development and testing teams to analyze test coverage and drive improvements.
- Identify and document software defects and work towards resolution.
- Participate in customer design discussions to understand technical needs and architectures.
- Generate reports on test progress, results, and defect tracking.
Must Have Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or M.Tech degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
- 10+ years of experience in networking with strong domain expertise.
- Proficiency in Python or similar scripting languages for automation.
- In-depth knowledge of networking technologies and protocols (e.g., Ethernet, OSPF, BGP).
- Solid testing experience, including test plan development and execution in complex networks.
- Hands-on experience with test automation and tools such as Spirent and Ixia.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Broad understanding of cloud infrastructure and networking systems.
- Experience in setting up test environments and automation frameworks.
- Prior hands-on experience with the JUNOS operating system is advantageous.
- Networking certifications (e.g., JNCIE) are highly desirable.
Work Conditions:
- On-site full-time role, primarily working from a company office.
Salary Range:
- Annual Salary USD 120,000 - 243,000 (California)
