Senior Engineer - Storage and Data Protection

The company is seeking a Senior Engineer - Storage and Data Protection to join our team. As a leader in AI-powered cloud and digital infrastructure, the company provides transformative technology solutions globally. This role involves designing, implementing, and providing expert support for large-scale storage infrastructure, focusing on performance, scalability, reliability, and security.

Responsibilities:

• Co-design, implement, and operate petabyte-scale storage solutions as part of Cloud and HPC environments.
• Collaborate on storage and backup technology evaluation and solution design.
• Perform capacity planning to meet demand for storage platforms.
• Implement technical changes to improve storage reliability and operational resilience.
• Analyze and optimize storage performance, including throughput, latency, and resource utilization.
• Provide expert support, including on-call support and complex troubleshooting.
• Ensure storage and backup platforms comply with cybersecurity requirements.
• Maintain technical documentation and improve operational workflows.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with large-scale storage systems.
• Strong experience with software-defined storage across various storage types.
• Hands-on experience with storage systems from vendors like HPE, Dell, NetApp, and others.
• Proficient in Linux administration and storage protocols.
• Experience with cloud-native backup solutions is a plus.
• Familiarity with container platforms and CI/CD principles is desirable.
• Strong scripting or programming skills in languages such as Python or Go.

Language Requirements:
Proficiency in English is expected, and knowledge of additional languages may be an asset.
