Key Responsibilities:

  • Provision and stabilize integration/test Linux-container environments via systemd, systemd-nspawn, LXC or namespaces + cgroups; validate configurations and detect drift before each integration wave.
  • Interface with Android devices (via adb); capture and analyze device logs; verify endpoint behavior for integration and demo preparation.
  • Execute templated integration tests (click/observe/log results), record pass/fail and escalate anomalies.
  • Capture and triage issues: produce concise, reproducible bug reports including environment snapshot (container config, service statuses, device state), exact steps, logs, and expected vs actual behavior.

Education and Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Certification in Project Management (PMP or equivalent).

Key Skills:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in system engineering, specifically with integration, testing, and configuration management.
  • Experience in Linux RTOS embedded systems, wireless communications systems integration, and Command and Control applications.
  • Experience with test planning, test execution, and test reporting.
  • Familiarity with integration tools and software configuration management systems.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and performance tuning.
  • Familiarity with military specifications and standards related to soldier systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux container environments (systemd-nspawn, LXC, namespaces/cgroups) and Android endpoint support (adb, log capture).
  • Experience with defense systems, field testing, or defense technology.
  • Knowledge of automation tools for testing and configuration.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain the required security clearance.
  • Networking and firewall configuration capabilities.
  • Capacity to work with diagnostics tools (e.g., Wireshark, USB analyzers, protocol dissectors).
