KATIM is seeking a highly skilled and motivated System Engineer with expertise in Testing, Configuration, and Integration. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the seamless integration and end-to-end testing of complex systems and subsystems. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet performance, reliability, and operational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, execute, and troubleshoot the integration of various subsystems, ensuring compatibility and adherence to specifications.
- Coordinate with hardware and software teams to ensure system components work seamlessly.
- Develop and execute test plans for system-level, integration, and field testing.
- Conduct system validation and verification (V&V) to ensure all subsystems meet performance requirements and functional specifications.
- Troubleshoot system issues, collaborating with engineering teams and developers for timely resolution.
- Implement and maintain configuration control for all system components.
- Work with KATIM configuration management tools to support configuration, document control, and change management processes.
- Prepare technical documentation including test plans and reports.
- Provide regular updates to management and stakeholders regarding integration progress and test results.
- Develop software and scripts and utilize SDKs/APIs for integration of third-party software.
- Follow safety procedures and support compliance activities for electrical systems.
Education and Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Certification in Project Management (PMP or equivalent).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in system engineering, focusing on integration, testing, and configuration management.
- Experience in military systems integration or combat systems is preferred.
- Familiarity with test planning, execution, and reporting.
Key Skills:
- Experience with military systems, field testing, or defense technology.
- Knowledge of automation tools for testing and configuration.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
