We are seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our team. In this critical role, you will enhance and develop our Frontend applications, leveraging your strong background in backend development and web technologies. You will be responsible for building and maintaining sophisticated backend APIs and services that will enhance user engagement and provide unique advertising experiences.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead Agile methodologies within the team, ensuring the Scrum framework is adhered to.
- Mentor team members throughout the software development lifecycle, including planning, design, deployment, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with the Product team to understand requirements and translate them into high-quality frontend code.
- Partner with Backend, Mobile, and QA engineers for seamless backend integrations and overall project support.
- Participate in Frontend Chapter meetings, developing best practices and staying current with frontend technologies.
- Define comprehensive test cases with QA engineers and support automated and manual testing processes.
- Conduct code reviews to maintain high code quality and improve the overall codebase health.
- Use CI/CD tools to automate testing and deployment processes efficiently.
- Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint grooming, and retrospective meetings to monitor progress and improve team efficiency.
- Produce comprehensive documentation for development processes and architectural designs.
Your Expertise:
- 6+ years of professional experience in Software Engineering, focusing on Frontend development.
- Familiarity with major JavaScript frameworks, with preferred experience in React JS.
- Strong understanding of modern JavaScript features and asynchronous programming.
- Experience in Software Development, Design, and Architecture, maintaining security best practices.
- Knowledge of OOP concepts and SOLID principles.
- Experience with Agile practices: Pairing, TDD, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery.
- Expertise in web performance optimization and understanding Web Vitals metrics.
- Proficient in web application design and state management solutions.
- Familiarity with Unit and Integration testing, and debugging web application vulnerabilities and performance issues.
- Strong customer focus with a commitment to building accessible applications for an excellent user experience.
- Knowledge of web accessibility standards and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience with Next.js 15 and its latest features is a plus.
