As a key member of the drilling operations team, you will be responsible for preparing and optimizing well drilling, completion, and workover procedures, ensuring alignment with the company's technical, operational, and HSE standards. Your role will involve:
- Designing well trajectory and optimizing well profile, drill string, and bottom hole assemblies.
- Overseeing completion activities on the rig, including planning and executing operations related to completions in onshore gas projects.
- Evaluating well designs and advising on cost-effective solutions to enhance well viability.
- Identifying and mitigating risks in drilling, completion, and well intervention operations.
- Reviewing troubled or underperforming wells and recommending remedial solutions to restore productivity.
- Collaborating with drilling and subsurface teams, as well as vendors, in planning and executing work.
- Managing well delivery with a full life cycle approach, incorporating well design, completions, drilling performance, and new technology applications.
- Preparing rig mobilization, demobilization, and orientation plans, along with wellhead casing and cementing programs to ensure well integrity.
- Conducting technical reviews and verification of well completion designs, preparing well abandonment programs and cost estimates.
- Ensuring timely availability of shared contracted services and resources by consulting with service contractors and relevant production operations departments.
- Maximizing rig team performance by fostering an enabling environment for collaboration and participation.
Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in drilling operations, including experience in a similar role.
