About the Role
The company is actively seeking applications for a Senior Engineering System Engineer role to support future growth in our expanding business in Qatar. The projects team focuses on delivering across FEED, Pre-FEED, Brownfield, and Greenfield scopes of work. In this role, you will be responsible for the execution of project work in accordance with the project execution plan, including the company and/or Project Procedures on Safety and Quality Control within the man-hour, cost, and project schedule targets. This is a long-term assignment based in Qatar.

The Senior Engineering System Engineer will be responsible for creating business growth through the practical application of technology. It is a job for a generalist, requiring:

Reflecting the market focus for the office in both brownfield and greenfield opportunities, multi-skilled personnel are sought, particularly those with experience in:
- Onshore Oil and Gas
- Offshore Oil and Gas
Key responsibilities include:
- Central role in the company's continued digital transformation, ensuring alignment between IDT and business strategies.
- Connecting the company core digital enablers to business needs, driving external growth opportunities and unlocking internal efficiencies, positioning the company as a digitally enabled organization and market leader.
- Acting as a trusted technology leader, providing digital knowledge and expertise.
- Providing digital leadership aligned with business needs, delivering on their digital objectives and realizing expected benefits.
- Serving as the digital interface for IDT services, unlocking capabilities to deliver digital solutions efficiently and effectively.
- Aligning with Product Managers to present consistent messages to the business regarding their latest developments.
- Collaborating with IDT Business Partners to ensure a consolidated and clear interface to the business.
- Developing a network of cross-functional relationships across the business, IDT, and partner organizations to identify, develop, and implement digital opportunities effectively.
- Continually refreshing knowledge and awareness of new and emerging technologies, relating them to the Digital Strategy.
- Assimilating new products/technologies rapidly and elevating appropriate innovation opportunities.
- Understanding the company's core enablers, co-creating and driving the technology plan for the company's “hero” solutions and supporting digital product lines.
