Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the operation, maintenance, and repair of all building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural elements.
- Conduct in-depth inspections and assessments to identify potential issues and develop solutions to enhance system performance and reduce downtime.
- Lead and mentor the facilities team, providing guidance and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Develop and maintain preventive and corrective maintenance programs to ensure that all systems function optimally.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors for major repairs and renovations, ensuring all work meets the company's quality standards and budget constraints.
- Prepare and manage the facilities budget, including estimating costs for repairs and upgrades.
- Conduct energy audits and implement initiatives aimed at sustainability and energy efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, health and safety standards, and environmental policies.
- Prepare detailed reports on facilities performance and project progress for presentation to management.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in facility management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Facility Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in facilities management, with a focus on engineering roles.
- Proven experience overseeing building operations and maintenance, preferably in a senior capacity.
- Strong technical expertise in building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and maintenance staff.
- Proficient in facility management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Valid UAE driver's license.
