Senior Field Service Engineer

About the Job:

The opportunity entails Field Service Engineering work focused on providing technical advice to customers. This includes commissioning, installing, and testing products/equipment, as well as identifying and correcting complex issues associated with start-up. Responsibilities encompass:

• Active participation in site activities, including the installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of the company's HV GIS, GCB, LTB, DTB, and other equipment.
• Coordination and interface with tools management, ensuring the proper use of test equipment and tools for HV product installation and testing.
• Completion of GIS Bay or GIS compartment assembly, minor fabrications, troubleshooting, and rectification of HV product defects at customer sites.
• Participation in project management activities, maintaining compliance with project management requirements and customer site regulations.
• Leading contractor or sub-contractor during job execution, coordinating with customer and back-office support.
• Preparing site reports, activity plans, and resource reports for the project management team.
• Ensuring compliance with both internal and external regulations and procedures.

Your Background:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• 6-10 years of experience with high voltage products, electrical equipment, switchgears, and HV switchgear protection and control.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Arabic is required.
