Key Responsibilities:
- Actively participate in site activities, visiting customer sites for installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of the company HV GIS, GCB, LTB, DTB, and other equipment as required.
- Participate in PGHV projects and collaborate with project teams as assigned.
- Coordinate with tools management to handle HV tools, arranging and properly using test equipment for installation, testing, and commissioning of HV products.
- Complete GIS Bay or compartment assembly work, minor fabrications, and troubleshooting of HV products at customer sites, advising on action plans for repairs when necessary.
- Support service activities on-site and at customer workplaces.
- Learn and operate test equipment used for HV product testing, commissioning, and maintenance, sharing knowledge with fellow engineers and technicians.
- Collaborate with project management on various tasks, adhering to compliance and discipline requirements.
- Lead contractors during job execution and coordinate with customers and back-office support for resource requirements to complete tasks.
- Prepare and provide site reports, activity plans, and method statements as needed.
- Comply with company rules, report safety or integrity incidents, and implement company values in daily activities.
- Submit weekly and monthly timesheets, expense reports, and prepare travel authorizations as per company guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- 6-10 years of experience with high voltage products, electrical equipment, switchgears, and HV switchgear protection and control.
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Arabic is required.
