The position requires driving proactive service solutions, resolving customer issues, and fostering long-term relationships, contributing to operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the planning and execution of installation and commissioning activities on-site, and execute design modifications for commissioning.
- Carry out installation & commissioning, including HV PD, extension, and maintenance services independently.
- Provide on-site or remote technical support for installation and commissioning of GIS and routine maintenance services, identifying technical problems through analysis.
- Support tendering by providing commissioning plans and time/cost estimation.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Act as the OEM representative during customer interactions, preparing necessary tools, equipment, and parts for service jobs.
- Establish long-term customer relationships, responding immediately to issues and promoting product Life Cycle Management.
- Adhere to quality assurance requirements on-site while continually seeking improvement.
Your Background:
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in engineering required.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience, with 6 to 8 years specifically in High Voltage Products or Equipment’s (GIS 132KV, 220KV and above).
- Competence in testing & commissioning of switchgears and other key components in substations.
- Proficiency in computer literacy and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Team player capable of networking and building relationships internally and externally.
- Highly focused on meeting customer service and quality standards.
- Valid Certification for commissioning and HV PD is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in spoken & written English is required; knowledge of Arabic is an added advantage.
