This role is responsible for providing aftermarket services and support for the installed base, as well as maintenance services for High Voltage Products (GIS, LTB, AIS, GCB & Power Quality) in the UAE. Responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance, upgrades, troubleshooting, and warranty repairs on High Voltage Products, while also carrying out commissioning activities.

The position involves developing and implementing proactive services responsive to customer requirements, coordinating investigations of customer-reported issues, and assisting in achieving equitable solutions for customers. Key activities include:
- Strong knowledge of High Voltage Products Services & Service portfolios.
- Carrying out Installation & Commissioning, extension, and Maintenance services independently.
- Providing on-site or remote technical support for installation and commissioning of mainly GIS, LTB, AIS & Power Quality Solutions, and routine maintenance services.
- Ensuring adherence to safety and industry best practices and creating strong relationships with customers.
- Making recommendations for service requirements and providing feedback to the Service Sales team.
- Acting as the representative of the OEM during customer interactions and preparing required tools and documentation for service jobs.
- Creating service reports, time sheets, and delivery notes.
- Supporting site activities for High Voltage Products maintenance and ensuring compliance with regulations and quality assurance requirements.
Background:
- A bachelor’s degree or diploma in engineering is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience, including 6 to 8 years in High Voltage Products or Equipment (GIS, LTB, AIS), installation, testing, commissioning, repair and maintenance.
- Computer literate with excellent interpersonal written and oral communication skills.
- Relevant experience in Transmission GIS Installation and commissioning, substation services, and preventive maintenance is valuable.
- Team player with the ability to build relationships internally and externally.
- Highly focused on meeting customer service and quality standards.
- The company factory certification for GIS is an advantage.
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English is required.
