Main Responsibilities:
- Check the installation and commissioning of newly installed LV drives (e.g., ACS880, ACS580, etc.) for ongoing industrial projects and report on commissioning works to customers and service managers.
- Service faulty medium voltage and low drives, order and replace faulty parts, and report warranty cases to the manufacturer.
- Perform preventive maintenance on different types of drives and assist in sizing and selecting the appropriate drives based on customer requirements.
- Report customer satisfaction levels, claims, recommendations, and technical issues regarding drives to business unit management.
- Contribute effectively to promoting products and boosting sales.
- Engineering system interfaces for drive upgrades, retrofitting projects, and newly installed drives.
- Conduct root cause analysis for customer failures and provide troubleshooting support for medium voltage variable frequency drives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in installation, testing, commissioning, and servicing of LV and MV drives.
- Fluent in English is required.
- Ability to work under pressure and travel to remote sites for extended periods.
- Certified as per Motion Upskills on relevant products.
