Senior FM Policies, Standards and Guidelines Engineer

About the Role

This position is focused on developing and improving policies, standards, and guidelines that strengthen operational consistency and governance within facility management. You will play a crucial role in shaping the standards that guide facility management delivery, working collaboratively across technical and stakeholder groups. The goal is to support governance, enhance compliance, and ensure that engineering and operational requirements are effectively translated into well-structured documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain FM policies, standards, and technical guideline documents.
• Review engineering submissions for compliance with FM standards and best practices.
• Provide technical guidance on FM governance, procedures, and operational standards.
• Support audits and gap assessments for facility management policy implementation.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to align FM requirements across projects and assets.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, facilities management, or a closely related field.
• 5+ years of experience in facility management standards or engineering governance.
• Strong knowledge of FM policies, compliance frameworks, and operational best practices.
• Experience reviewing technical documents, engineering submissions, and audit findings.
• Experience producing technical written documentation across complex projects.
• Experience coordinating with stakeholders across complex projects.
