About the Role
As a seasoned senior engineer, you will delve into complex problems, identify root causes, and develop simple, effective solutions. Your focus will be on impact over output, utilizing clear communication with customers to foster trust and understanding. You will collaborate with engineering teams and product managers to translate field insights into scalable solutions while recognizing recurring issues across clients to inform platform requirements. Your leadership will drive the team towards successful outcomes and foster change.

What You'll Do

• Work closely with customers to understand their businesses, identify critical problems, and develop targeted solutions.
• Drive immediate change and impact through innovative engineering practices.
• Rapidly prototype AI solutions and agentic applications, moving effective projects to production quickly.
• Define success in collaboration with customers, measuring results, and iterating based on real usage data.
• Transform unique solutions into reusable components and reference architectures for scalable organizational use.
• Provide insights from the field back to product and engineering leadership to inform future development.
• Mentor engineers and share knowledge to enhance AI capabilities across the company.

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of experience in building and operating production systems, including 2+ years applying generative AI or agentic applications with real users.
• Proficient in full-stack engineering: TypeScript or Go for backend and React or similar for frontend.
• Extensive applied AI experience with RAG, tool use, agentic workflows, and MCP in a production context with proper evaluation and observability.
• Familiarity with leading AI platforms and models such as AWS Bedrock, OpenAI, and Anthropic Claude.
• Proven experience in integrating with various third-party systems, including CRMs, APIs, and data exports.
• A data-driven approach, with the ability to form hypotheses and make decisions based on measurable results.
• Strong curiosity and willingness to learn in a rapidly evolving AI landscape.
• Excellent communication skills, able to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences. The role involves significant customer interaction, both in-person and remote.

Nice to Have

• Experience in real estate, proptech, marketplaces, or classifieds.
• Background in forward deployed engineering, solutions engineering, or technical consulting.
• Skills in using generative AI tools for creating data-driven visual assets.
• Proficiency in the Arabic language.
