The role involves designing, developing, and implementing user-friendly front-end features with JavaScript and jQuery. As a developer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with back-end systems, optimize applications for speed, and enhance user experiences through responsive web design. You will troubleshoot and resolve performance issues while keeping updated on emerging web development trends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive, high-performance web applications using JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and jQuery.
- Implement and optimize DOM manipulation, event handling, and dynamic UI updates for interactive content.
- Integrate front-end components with RESTful APIs to support client-server interactions.
- Enhance page load performance with defer and async JavaScript attributes.
- Translate modern UI/UX designs into reusable, modular components using Figma or similar tools.
- Apply best practices in CSS, ensuring layout techniques (Flexbox, Grid) and cross-browser compatibility.
- Focus on performance metrics such as First Contentful Paint (FCP) and Time to Interactive (TTI).
- Conduct thorough code reviews, write unit tests, and contribute to codebase quality and refactoring.
- Engage in ongoing learning of emerging front-end technologies and foster internal knowledge sharing.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Front-End Developer.
- Proficient in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Strong understanding of the DOM, event loops, async/defer, and browser rendering.
- Experience with asynchronous data management via REST APIs.
- Familiarity with DNS resolution, TLS handshake, and their performance impacts.
- Knowledge of CSS methodologies (BEM, SCSS) and responsive design patterns.
- Experience with Git, Agile/Scrum, and CI/CD practices.
- Strong debugging, optimization, and performance tuning skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Familiar with tools like Webpack, ESLint, Prettier, and modern front-end build pipelines.
- Experience with front-end performance audits using Lighthouse, Chrome DevTools, and Core Web Vitals.
