The Opportunity:
As a Senior Frontend Engineer at the company, you will lead the development of intuitive, high-performing, and scalable web interfaces across our digital products. You will mentor junior engineers, set the technical direction for frontend practices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams—including product, design, and backend engineering—to deliver seamless user experiences that bring our GenAI solutions to life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop visually appealing and performant frontend website architecture, including translating designer mock-ups and wireframes into front-end code.
- Develop functional databases, applications, and servers to support websites on the back end.
- Develop and design RESTful services and APIs.
- Stay abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages.
- Ensure that non-functional requirements such as security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability are considered when architecting solutions.
- Keep job knowledge up-to-date by studying new development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal and professional networks; participating in professional organizations.
- Comply with policies and procedures regarding Quality Health Safety and Environment (QHSE), Business Continuity, Information Security, Privacy, Risk, Compliance Management, and Governance of Organizations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of computer science and basic algorithms.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in full stack web development.
- 7+ years of experience coding in JavaScript/TypeScript.
- 5+ years of experience building single page applications with React or Vue.
- 3+ years of experience coding in at least one backend language (Java, Python, etc.).
- Strong understanding of state management in frontend apps, with production experience working with MobX, Redux, or Zustand.
- Experience in media operations in the browser (Canvas, Audio, and Video APIs).
- Understanding of relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, MongoDB, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of programming principles (SOLID).
- Experience in integrating and applying LLM services will be a plus.
