Presight, a leading big data analytics company and an ADX-listed public company with Abu Dhabi based G42 as its majority shareholder, is seeking a seasoned and creative Senior Frontend Engineer. The company excels at utilizing big data, analytics, and AI expertise to create positive business and societal impact across various sectors.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing and building front-end applications by implementing visual elements in web applications and translating UI/UX design wireframes into programming languages. You will deliver innovative frontend engineering solutions that are stable, high-performing, secure, accessible, and profitable for Presight’s customers.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expertise in applications programming, ensuring that application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint.
- Develop optimal solutions to enhance user experience, ensuring maximum speed and scalability.
- Document software deliverables through use cases and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with multiple teams for appropriate function integration and system enhancements.
- Participate in design reviews and offer inputs for continuous improvement.
- Comply with QHSE policies and contribute to software quality assessments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in front-end web development, with at least 4 years in AI service organizations or the analytics industry.
- Strong knowledge of programming principles and solid algorithms.
- Over 4 years of experience coding in Vanilla JavaScript, and expertise in HTML5/CSS3 and modern JavaScript frameworks (React, etc.).
- Familiarity with state management tools (MobX or Redux) and experience with relational/non-relational databases (MySQL, MongoDB).
- Proficiency with RESTful APIs, code versioning tools (Git), and UI component libraries (e.g., Ant Design) is preferred.
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, DevOps practices, and a passion for the latest developments in front-end programming.
