Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer

Mozn is seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer with expertise in Java (17)/Kotlin, React, and TypeScript. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both front-end and back-end development, with at least 5 years of professional experience in these technologies. The role involves working on diverse projects, focusing on the development and maintenance of high-quality, scalable web applications while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of software solutions across front-end and back-end layers.
• Architect scalable systems, ensuring optimal performance and maintainability.
• Develop and maintain complex web applications using Python, React, and TypeScript, applying modern software development best practices.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices to ensure scalability, security, and performance.
• Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers for seamless integration and optimal user experience.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Conduct thorough code reviews and mentor junior team members.
• Maintain documentation of code, deployment processes, and troubleshooting resolutions.
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing applications for smooth user experiences.
• Take ownership of the deployment process, monitor systems, and address production issues.
• Participate in strategic planning, defining technical priorities, and identifying process improvement opportunities.
• Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement through collaboration and adherence to quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer, with strong expertise in both front-end and back-end technologies.
• Proficient in Python, and experienced in building robust systems.
• Solid experience with front-end frameworks, especially React and TypeScript.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and RESTful API design.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git), build systems, and testing frameworks.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers and fostering a collaborative environment.
• Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Familiarity with event-driven architecture and messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Knowledge of containerization tools (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).
• Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
• Understanding of security best practices for securing web applications.
• Experience with Golang and building efficient back-end services.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI).
• Knowledge of microservice architecture.
