Responsibilities
- Partner with public sector clients to scope requirements, gather feedback, and deliver solutions, including regular time on-site at client offices.
- Architect and build production-grade applications that integrate AI models, from interactive UIs to backend APIs and systems.
- Deploy and manage infrastructure in cloud and client environments, ensuring security, scalability, and reliability.
- Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot end-to-end solutions within customer infrastructure.
- Contribute to reusable platform features that serve multiple client use cases.
- Work closely with design, product, data, and QA teams to deliver solutions aligned with the overall architecture.
Requirements
- 7+ years of full-stack software engineering experience, building production-grade applications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in React (required), TypeScript, and Next.js.
- Backend experience with Python and/or Node.js, and PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and at least one cloud provider (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Experience building solutions with LLMs and a solid understanding of the Generative AI landscape.
- Self-starter, comfortable with ambiguous requirements and working directly with clients.
- Excellent written and spoken English, with strong async communication.
Nice to Have
- Proficiency in Arabic.
- Previous experience as a Forward Deployed Engineer or Customer Engineer.
- Experience working with government or public sector clients.
- Experience working cross-functionally with operations teams.
