In this role, you will directly report to the onshore Engineering Manager and work proactively within an agile team focused on service-oriented architecture. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to transform business needs into technical requirements, assist in software design and development, and ensure adherence to Agile methodologies.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Work with the development team using SCRUM methodology.
- Contribute to requirement definitions, software design, and architectural aspects of software projects.
- Write well-designed, documented, and testable code.
- Integrate software components into a fully functional system.
- Develop, test, and execute the full software development life cycle.
- Ensure the Stories comply with the Definition of Done.
- Maintain responsibilities related to project scope, schedule, and deliverables.
Key Competencies:
- Rich experience in web interface development (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, VueJS, Angular).
- Proficiency in software components development (Java, Maven, Vert.X, Spring Boot, REST).
- Experience with Continuous Integration (Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory, Git, Jira, Sonar).
- Ownership of your code and participation in deployment processes (experience with Ansible, Bash, SSH, Linux, Docker).
- Strong background in ATM (Air Traffic Management) systems.
- Technical documentation skills in English.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or related fields.
- 6+ years of engineering experience, including 4+ years with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture and DevOps principles.
- Fluent in English (high fluency required). Additional fluency in French or Arabic is preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in Agile teams, Cloud, AI solutions, and strong communication skills.
- Knowledge of Python, C, or C++ is a notable advantage.
